Educational activities

The Museum Educational Service collaborates with teachers of schools of all levels to advise and orientate educational activities.

It is possible to activate conventions and agreements for specific didactic projects with Educational Institutes. The Museum is also involved in organizing training sessions to deepen the contents and specific aspects of the archeology of Aquileia and its territory. For this reason, in the course of the year, meetings and conferences of a divulgative nature are organized, addressed also to the teachers. It is also possible to contact the Educational Service to obtain information, bibliographic suggestions and ideas for research useful for the design of new itineraries.

The Museum periodically organizes events dedicated to families, aimed at presenting the Museum's heritage in an innovative way, promoting workshops and interactive guided tours to create non-formal learning opportunities. For the complete calendar of initiatives, see the "Events" section.

The museum structure is accessible in all its parts to people with motor disabilities and is equipped with an elevator. The Museum staff is available to take guided tours and thematic routes dedicated to people with perceptive and cognitive disabilities. Tactile routes on original finds can be proposed to groups or individual visitors. A system of audiodescription is available at the ticket office.
